April 1st, 2019|

Whether it's the London Marathon or there are other events in the diary, this is the point in your training when you’re ranking up the miles and getting some long runs under your belt before you start to taper. I felt truly inspired by all [...]

Time for a fresh, fad free look at fitness for 2018?

December 7th, 2017|

With Christmas approaching and the dreaded January ‘diet’ I’m continuing on my mission to support people to think about managing their weight differently. One of my Christmas wishes is that no one embarks on a fad diet come Jan 1st. Full of fake promises and [...]

Forget diet and exercise, let’s talk about eating and training

Welcome to the Laura Clark Nutrition blog

February 10th, 2017|

Welcome to the Laura Clark Nutrition blog – helping each and every one of you access nutrition sense and eat it real.

The nutrition and health world has exploded onto the internet – we are overwhelmed with facts, fads, false claims and frustration. Everyone – including those not even qualified - seems obsessed with labelling food but we don’t understand the labels that already exist.

Food is a basic human need and yet so many people struggle to get it right and our environment certainly isn’t helping us. The media loves to define things and make it black and white with what will kill you one day being the secret to a long life the next.

What I feel is missing is honest, practical, impartial advice that translates the science and facts into simple language that’s easy to understand and apply in everyday life situations.

The blog is based on the ‘eat it real’ concept – real life, evidence based, easy to understand nutrition information. My commitment to you is that I have no agenda and I’m not trying to sell you a product. I do practice evidence based nutrition and I know lots of clever research people! I will tell you it straight. I will help you understand what your body needs and how you can improve your relationship with food.

I will help you to #eatitreal.
