I decided to become a dietitian because I wanted to combine working with people with my passion for food and the science of nutrition!
Over the years I have continued to build my knowledge and expertise in many areas of nutrition and health, including sport and exercise nutrition and behaviour change counselling.
On an individual basis, I understand that simply being given nutritional advice isn’t enough to ensure you reach your goals. Along with knowledge, I can support you to develop skills and strategies to enable you to make changes and achieve your goals long term whether they are related to health, lifestyle or sports performance.
At a group level, I love bringing nutrition to life and making it feel relevant and tangible for the audience. Nutrition is a hot topic, heavily debated in the media. Use my expertise to cut through the controversy and empower change!
Since completing my degree at Surrey University in 2001 I have worked in a variety of positions within the health service in the UK and abroad. Since becoming completely freelance my work is hugely varied – anything from brand work to wellness seminars, clinics to weaning workshops, being in front of the camera to being in front of budding dietetic university students. I love it and I look forward to potentially helping or working with you!
